5 Reasons to Buy an American Car
Everyone needs a car, most families need 3-5. For way too long, people have gravitated to foreign cars and not necessarily for bad reasoning, the quality was just there. Traditionally, the argument for Americans to buy cars made in their country has been patriotism and support of American jobs. It’s true that buying vehicles made on American soil will create more jobs, strengthen the economy, and facilitate economic development. When you consider the amount of industries, businesses and jobs that pay into the automotive space, the numbers are staggering. For a long time, the government has been making a case that their automotive industry is [...]
We’ve all heard the arguments for a higher minimum wage now. Some states have been suckered into this idea already. Take California for example, this absolute sinkhole for business and productive economic growth is adding yet another weight on the scale pulling businesses out of the State to Texas, Tennessee, North and South Carolina, Florida and elsewhere. California just passed a $15 minimum wage primarily driven by fast food laborers. At the surface, great job California for coming out with legislation that helps people make more money and live a better lifestyle. Wait, let’s think about this for a moment. What happens with the government instills changes that [...]
Yeah, I’m going to screw up America!
Ok, so I admit, Donald Trump isn’t exactly the most inspiring presidential candidate. He probably won’t be lumped into categories randomly with George Washington or Abraham Lincoln….but are you kidding me, are we actually considering electing Hillary Clinton? I just threw up in my mouth and swallowed it. What amazes me about the American public is that we continue to follow a path of self destruction, one that feeds into an unsustainable growing population of those who can’t support themselves to feed systems that allow for this inefficient and [...]
This week I came to the realization how much coffee means to me. It is a very, very important part of my day. Without coffee, I really shouldn’t get out of bed in the morning because only bad things will happen. There is no life to my interaction with customers….there is no creativity to my business solutions and my overall mood is just terrible. Typically, this isn’t an issue, because up until a couple of months ago I used a traditional coffee pot apparatus that makes a pot of coffee in the morning. You can typically purchase these for about $29.95 at Target and they don’t look fancy and certainly don’t improve your status in the neighborhood, but they do make coffee. And if [...]
I don’t think that anyone really likes their cell phone plan, but I truly despise mine. Verizon touts themselves as being the premium provider and on literally every advertisement they show a map with lots of colors and indications that they cover every square inch of the United States. Based on what Verizon has told me in their ads I should be able to make a call from the padded room in the insane asylum without an interruption of service. Well, I just haven’t found that to be the case. Also, every Verizon commercial seems so friendly and that they are almost like family in working with me to make sure that I have a great experience with them each and every time. I personally [...]
